Sources within the Alameda County Sheriff’s Department have confirmed that the agency has released photos of two armed robbery suspects. Authorities say they are hopeful that someone will recognize one or both of the people who were involved in this crime.
The incident took place in late December, according to a report by San Francisco CBS Local, when two young males walked into a local gas station convenience store, assaulted a worker and then robbed that business.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for his injuries; he has since been released from care.
It’s unclear whether the pair stole cash in addition to the items they removed from the store. It’s also unclear whether either of the suspects have a criminal past. Police are asking anyone with information that could lead to their capture and arrest to please call the sheriff’s department tip line.
When the suspects are taken into custody they’ll be taken to the Santa Rita Jail for booking.
